Forsskål was participated in a Danish expedition to the “Lucky Arabien”, as started during 1761. The travel became a complete disaster. All died during terrible sufferings, apart from the german Neibuhr as among other things he was bringing Forsskåls unique research materials from the Red Sea to Denmark

Notable
Forsskål was one of Linné´s most talanted disciples, but he died to early. He became also senior lecturer in economy.
