Journeys Traveled 1758 to the Arctic with a whale catch ship. He did only a few discover of value, when he´s only been three days on Spitsbergen. He did however a lot of zoologic and botanic collections along Norways vest coast.
Left documentation His diary, "Dagbok vid en resa till Norrpolen eller Spitsbergen 1758", was published firstly 1881.
Notable Was commended by Linné as “diligent and quick”.
