Journeys	Traveled 1770 with a grant to London, where he among other meet somebody who´s going to be one of the most well-known apostles, Daniel Solander. From there, he traveled with the English culture man Henry Smeathman to Bananas in the west of Africa. However the stay became short. Already after two months, Berlin died in sickbed. However, he reached to send some various plants to Linné.
